To add magic to the Combat Triangle, we need to strengthen

  • Smithing. It is a clear option to be increased, due to RS gold Dragon. Jagex has suggested that Dragon Ore might be released. The Q&A in which they were asked questions about the matter didn’t provide a clear answer but they did mention that the protectors might not be pleased. While this could be a reference to Dragonkin, I’m straying away from the topic. Dragon material is very scarce currently. What is the reason for this? It isn’t because it is weak. Currently I wear a rune and would like to wear full Dragon even though I could wear Barrows.

It’s not used other than for specific weapons or boots. This is due to the fact that Jagex has taken so long to release everything (and do they ever release it all?) Barrows has created better armors, and Bandos gear is now available to be worn down. Making Dragon smithable would increase the amount, thus lowering the price and making it more popular.

At first I thought this was enough. The entire range of Ranging armor fits nicely and we don’t need any new D’hide stuff. Then, I realized something was lacking the magic. In Dungeoneering and Stealing Creation, we can use Crafting to create Magic Robes. In the present, we cannot make Battlestaves. And Magic certainly could benefit from new armor.

To add magic to the Combat Triangle, we need to strengthen our protection against melee. The only piece of Magic Armor that offers defense is the Arcane Spirit Shield. There are other pieces of Magic Armor like Ahrim’s robes and Lunar armor, Splitbark, Skeletal, which provide defense, however they are not my favorite. While I know that the base Mage armor is made up of robes, it’s not restricted to the robes. It is magical robes.

Mages can enchant their robes in order to stop melee attacks. Bind spells can prevent the whole group of people from moving, and so you can surely prevent their weapon from ripping your. If crafting could be expanded, perhaps at higher levels, it would be possible to make Mage robes which you could later enchant using Magic and Runecrafting.

Jagex has no other skill that could be added to justify raising the cap to 120. However, I don’t see any reason why Jagex would want to. There are some things that you can get in the 90s.

Extreme Potions can be trusted and have the strength to handle this. It could be possible to add Saradomin Elixir, which is Saradomin beer and buy RuneScape gold another ingredient. It doesn’t affect stats and heals more than Saradomin brew.
