  TL; DR: In the future if you are going to shake up the shooting mechanisms this drastically & you give us the demonstration can you please either give people more games to figure out it, allow us to adjust difficulty, or give us access to groups that don’t have such smothering defense? (& it wouldn’t be possible to get those few games I missed out on back would it?)

  So far it appears the new ace adhere makes the game much more fluid when all you need to worry about is taken orientation rather than launch timing. I feel like the idea of our shots being tied to release timing was really pretty limiting and I never understood it until now. I am now able to state I’m delighted with the new scheme. Game-changer for certain.

  Hey can you elaborate on this a bit? Especially about taken orientation. I haven’t used the rod at all yet I have only been reading about it and you have an interesting spin on things. Obviously. From what I’ve read and experienced there are several different options that players may have when it comes to shooting via the expert stick.

  RELEASE TIMING – Much like what we’ve seen in 2k20 and years past. You flick the rod and launch it at the right time to have a flawless release. There is other increments of shots (slightly early, somewhat late and all that)

  STICK ORIENTATION – If you play with 2KU or some Quick Game from the 2k21 demo, you’ll see this scheme. It is just about you holding the pro stick down and then moving it slightly left or right with the aim being to find the shot in the coloured portion of the shot meter. You’re efficiently lining up your shot. When you launch the stick doesn’t make a difference. In reality you are able to down it the whole time (strange to listen to, I understand, for people who have been utilizing the expert stick in years previous). All that is graded within this strategy is how well defended you were and if your shot was too much left, too much right, or centered.
