There were already some in the FFXIV Community

Many people were worried about the WOW Classic TBC Gold migration’s influx of new players as well as the potential consequences of their actions. Each time I see one these blogs, I feel motivated and want to tell the people who were once WOW veterans, “Don’t worry!”

There will always be bad eggs. They always have been. There were already some in the FFXIV Community. There are many great ones as well. Numerous sprouts are searching for the same wonderful adventure that we all have the privilege of sharing.

But there are devs and mods who, in a variety of scale, try to discourage players from coming at rude, or sexist conduct. This has resulted in players who aren’t willing to accept such behaviour. They will report any bad eggs quickly and it all continues to feed back into itself.

A player has made an excellent point – although I have been told that I don’t read his posts – that FFXIV’s storyline is a good example of how to encourage the culture. It’s a story with themes of forgiveness and unity in the face of conflict rather than one in which the premise of the game is that two player factions are at war with one another.

In reality, when our great companies fight, it’s basically only a game. if you get hit with the dodgeball (Fire IV is the dodgeball. There’s no way to dodge the dodgeball.) enough times the ref tells you to cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold walk back to your starting zone before you can join the action. It’s refreshing!
