Vanilla people had no idea about anything, particularly at first. Are you sure that WOW TBC Gold the vast majority of people were making their choices on the basis of race? That is ridiculous.

People who were part of the forefront of PvE raid teams or PvPers and who were looking to gain every advantage they could would accomplish this, but it was just about 0.1 percent of the player base.

This didn’t really matter to anybody other than you. Of course, it could have looked like much more in the event that you were part of this relatively small amount of people.

Just ask yourself the question Which one would you imagine the typical WoW vanilla player would choose? The ugly orc or the beautiful nightelf? The answer is pretty obvious if you remember where Bloodelves ended up being to even it out.

In 2005, most servers were 60/40 Alliance. As for why, I think the playerbase was less snobby and casual back then (aka were more interested in the fantasy of characters more than they did meta-games for pvp) The reason people favored alliance more because it was more relatable and wanted to be heroic pretty good guys like in Lord of the Rings. It was easier to choose to be the monster “bad guy” or zombie than to wish for to be that. Will of the Forsaken was huge, and horde was more focused on pvp. It wasn’t a big deal. Though it was known that cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold horde had better PvP racials than the other however, it was not really an issue.
