“Normal” (as in not Nex) GWD armour is enough for Slayer tasks. Not too expensive (for those with the resources) and doesn’t need to be repaired and gives offensive bonuses. Keep a Barrows set of each combat style (Verac’s and Ahrim’s as well as Karil’s) to complete the few Slayer tasks that require high defence armour.

Glacor boots are among the top boots for the moment. Barrow gloves are not very great anymore. They’re hybrid gloves. They are useful, however if I were you, I’d buy the TWW automaton gloves (Static, Pneumatic and Tracking). They’re the equivalent gloves to Glacor boots.

Amulet of Fury is an excellent amulet and one of RS 2007 Gold the top hybrids in fact. If you’ve got money to spend you may want to purchase a Saradomin’s hiss (second most powerful magic amulet after the Stream Neck), Murmur (currently the most effective melee amulet in the game) as well as Whisper (best one that is ranged).
