When I first began Runescape, there was not any gp available in my bank. As I levelled up in Woodcutting (level 21/31/41), I had to consider, “Do I spend the gp to upgrade to (mithril/adamant/rune) hatchet?” (Similar with mining level 21/31/41 – if I upgrade to (mithril/adamant/rune) pickaxe, it will use up OSRS Gold valuable gp in my bank account, and with melee (upgrading to better armor would consume valuable scarce gp). Ha! The old days of Runescape.

In the next phase of my progression in Runescape I came across a post on Sal’s forums. The question was “What can I buy F2P in F2P if I have 2.2 Mgp in my account?” There were many suggestions however the one that stuck out to me was the person who stated, “Anything you like!” Since I didn’t have much in my account, it seemed like a great scenario.

Now that I have reread that question, I realize that it was true. There’s nothing else to purchase that would give you an upgrade in terms of gameplay. Trimmed armor doesn’t provide any armor bonuses over the full rune. The Santa hat is a great accessory to have (and is well worth the price) however, full rune helms actually offer an extra defense bonus. Although the Santa Hat isn’t a defense bonuses, it will provide you with.

There aren’t any Runescape items that can’t be purchased. Full rune armor/scimitar and rune pickaxe, with hatchet; green dragonhide helmet. Do you think it is worth the cost (3.2 million gp in bank accounts)?

The one and only Runescape purchase I’d recommend are those that increase one of Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold these skills currently: Prayer 53. Magic 54. Runecraft 53. Crafting 55. Smithing 51. (Aside the current attack 71; strength 70; defense 73 range 52 mining 64 60; firemaking and woodcutting 64.)
