There seems to be a misunderstanding in your question. Megalis 20 mg is not an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor). Megalis 20 mg contains tadalafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.

SSRIs, on the other hand, are a class of antidepressant medications that work by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain. They are not typically used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Regarding half-life:

Tadalafil (Megalis): Tadalafil has a relatively longer half-life compared to some other medications used for erectile dysfunction. The half-life of tadalafil is approximately 17.5 hours. This longer half-life allows for a more extended window of effectiveness, up to 36 hours in some cases.
