I have been watching the playthroughs of Asmongold’s Final Fantasy 14 and have thoroughly enjoyed the game. The Community has been so supportive in the last few months. It has, in my opinion, turned into nothing more than it was when it first came out. Everquest 2 was released as a Time Locked Expansion Server a time ago. This was basically a WoW server that had been boosted. Servers would grow quicker and then reach the level of live. The server could then be recreated at zero. EQ2 has more expansion than WoW, and also has an issue with quality over quantity.

Although I understand that EQ2 may not be as well-known an MMO as WoW, and never has been, I am feeling the same vibes coming from WoW’s community. I’m also convinced that Asmon’s attitude towards classic and live indicates that the two games may be on the same path. Classic could be an TLE.
